Privacy Policy

Scoreboard has no server, no account and no analytics. Everything you enter — players, scores, finished games — is stored on your device and is never uploaded to us, because there is nowhere for it to go.
Who we are
Scoreboard (“the app”) is an iOS app published by an independent developer based in Sweden. In this policy “we” and “us” mean that developer. You can reach us at scoreboardapp@outlook.com.
What the app stores, and where
The app keeps the following on your device only, using Apple’s local on-device database:
- The player names you type in, and the colour assigned to each.
- Finished games: the game type, the date, the final standings and the round-by-round sheet.
- Tournament fixtures and results.
- Your settings, including whether the darts caller is switched on.
None of this is transmitted to us. It is included in your device backup if you have iCloud Backup or an encrypted local backup turned on, under Apple’s terms rather than ours. Deleting the app deletes it all.
We do not collect personal data
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location. We do not use advertising identifiers. There is no analytics or tracking SDK in the app, and we do not build profiles of users or share data with data brokers.
The player names you type are yours — if you type a real person’s name, that name exists only on your own device.
Sharing a board with other people
When you share a live scoreboard, the app connects directly to nearby devices over Apple’s MultipeerConnectivity framework, using the local Wi-Fi radio and Bluetooth. The score is sent device to device; it does not pass through any server of ours and it does not leave the room. Your device name is visible to nearby devices while you are hosting or browsing, which is how people find your board. Close the board and the connection ends.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. To check what you have bought, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives a randomly generated anonymous identifier and the purchase information from your Apple receipt. That identifier is not linked to your name or email, and it is not used for advertising. You can view and copy it in the app under More → Your ID, which is useful if you write to us about a purchase.

The darts caller
The spoken caller in Darts Cricket uses Apple’s built-in speech synthesis, which runs on your device. Nothing is recorded and the microphone is never used — the app has no microphone permission at all.
Ratings and reviews
After your first finished game the app may show Apple’s standard rating prompt. That prompt is presented by iOS; we do not see whether you rated the app or what you wrote, and any review you leave is published by Apple under Apple’s terms.
Children
The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. Since we collect nothing, there is nothing about a child to delete.
Your rights
Data protection law — including the GDPR in the EU/UK and the CCPA in California — gives you rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. We hold no personal data about you, so in practice:
- Access and portability: everything the app holds is already in front of you, in the app.
- Deletion: delete a player, delete a past game, or delete the app to remove everything.
- Sale of data: we do not sell or share personal information, and never have.
If you want to exercise a right against RevenueCat’s copy of your anonymous identifier, send it to us from More → Your ID and we will pass the deletion request on.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts doing something this page does not describe, this page gets updated first, and the date at the top changes with it.
